 Mercy Ships Visit
We were truly blessed as a church to have hosted part of the crew of the MV Anastasis, flagship of the fleet of Mercy Ships. Their advertising leaflet reads, "Hope, Healing. A different sort of ship." Truly it is a different sort of ship, a ship that is blessed by God and manned by a crew that is sold out for Jesus. We heard first hand, wonderful and exciting testimonies of how God has been working through them in the developing nations of the world. Bringing hope and healing through this medical resource, The Mercy Ship. The drama team's simple yet powerful portrayal of Jesus and the Gospel message touched so many of us that night. The team's leader, Gary Graham, preached a powerful and timely message on prayer. This encouraged us to seek God more and believe that with Him nothing is impossible.
