On the 6th March 2004 at 12 noon, we joined together with members of our church, local church ministers and members of the public to officially open our first Christian BookStore and resource Centre.
In a space of just under three months, the premises was acquired, renovated, and stocked up for the official opening. The opening of the bookstore can only be credited to the faithful provision of our Lord. From the conception of the idea in the Spiritual realm, to the manifestation of the opening, we have seen God’s miraculous provision. From finances to physical labour, we have been blessed in this venture.
The store is situated on the main road in Patchway and is an answer to Pastor Dia’s prayer, “to have a Christian presence on the High street.”
There is an atmosphere of God’s presence in the store because every item on sale was carefully chosen under the instruction, inspiration and creativity of the Holy Spirit.
There is a great selection of books, gifts and scripture cards covering sections like, men, woman, family, marriage, youth, children, finances, prayer, devotional and so on. There is also a good selection of Christian jewellery and trendy clothing as well.
Part of the shop is currently being fitted out to serve as a coffee shop and will be ready to serve coffee by Easter 2004.
